Home foreclosures have fallen to their lowest level since before the 2008 recession. The decrease over the past year is “the final nail in the coffin of the foreclosure crisis,” according to an executive with ATTOM Data Solutions. Banks have worked through most of the legacy pipeline of foreclosures, and are now focused on more recent ones.
