Masco Corp. Names New Executives

Masco Corporation of Taylor, Michigan, has announced the appointment of three new executives in their management team.

Masco Corporation of Taylor, Michigan, has announced the appointment of three new executives in their management team. Chuck Dowd has been named new group president, and will assume responsibility for Behr Process Corporation, Alsons Corporation, The Marvel Group, Inc. and Watkins Manufacturing Corporation. Prior to assuming his current position, he was Group Vice President and President of Masco’s Plumbing Products Division (PPD), a global manufacturer of faucets and accessories selling under the brand names of Delta and Peerless Faucets.

John Wills is Dowd’s replacement as president of PPD after serving as Masco’s vice president of sales and marketing. He joined Masco in 1993 as President of Trayco, became Vice President of Retail Sales in 1994, and later became President of Channel & Category Management.

As new Vice President, Karen Mendelsohn will direct all of Masco’s corporate sales and marketing activities. Prior to assuming her current position, she was Vice President of Marketing for PPD. During her 12 years with Masco, Mendelsohn has held a variety of positions with PPD, including Business Unit Manager for Peerless and Advertising/Public Relations Manager for Peerless and Delta Faucets.
