Boomers consider a variety of factors when making retirement location decisions

Local weather, cost of living, and crime rate--these are among the factors retirees consider when determining which places will offer them the best quality of life during retirement, the New York Times reports. Many retirees also say they would like to invest in a place that might offer the possibility of part-time jobs for them, such as college towns, which have leading health care facilities and tend to be recession-resistant.
