Multi-generational households increase, Pew research finds

A survey by the Pew Research Center finds that from 2009 to 2012, the number of people living in multi-generational households increased from 51.5 million to 56.8 million, exceeding the overall increase in the U.S. population. The Pew report breaks out the data in greater detail.
