The 50 best U.S. cities according to 24/7 Wall Street

24/7 Wall Street reviewed data on the 550 cities with populations of 65,000 or more as measured by the U.S. Census Bureau.

The variables included were crime rates, employment growth, dining options, educational attainment, and housing affordability, with the local labor market serving as a key measure used to identify the best cities. The winners? Cities like Olathe, Kansas and Evanston, Illinois top the list, while none of the nation’s largest cities made the cut.
