Affluent buyers snap up nuclear attack ready luxury condos

There are silo-shaped, underground luxury condominiums springing up (or down) in Kansas, prepped to withstand pestilence or nuclear attacks. One project has sold out.

The Wall Street Journal profiles the developers and buyers of the Survival Condo complex, a project that can accommodate up to 75 people and protect them from near-apocalyptic circumstances. The condos also offer the usual luxury amenities such as swimming pools, gyms, and a round-the-clock surveillance staff.
