Housing market confidence in the South has sunny outlook

Zillow found that housing market confidence has improved in the South, and confidence among renters there remains higher than elsewhere in the country.

The index also reveals that on aggregate, confidence among homeowners in the South is below confidence among owners in the West and Northeast. The metro area with most improvement is Atlanta, where confidence among renters has moved upwards sharply. In Dallas, homeowners gained more confidence while the rate fell among renters.
