Case-Shiller report captures September slowdown

The numbers from Case-Shiller’s September home price report reflect a continued slowdown among U.S. home prices, which appreciated just 4.8 percent annually compared to an August rate of 5.1 percent.

Miami saw the greatest year-over-year jump in prices, coming in at 10.3 percent. Charlotte and Dallas were the only other two metros where prices accelerated.
