Housing Market Holds Great Potential for 2015

RIS Media talked with Homebuying Coach Kathy Cummings to learn what we can expect from homebuyers in the new year.

First-time buyers are expected to start entering the housing market, leaving experts optimistic about this buyer segment while move-up buyers will be purchasing new homes, either because of growing families or relocating for employment or lifestyle reasons. Additionally, empty-nesters are expected to make big changes in their homebuying trends in the coming year as the National Association of Home Builders 55+ Housing Market Index reached its highest second-quarter reading since 2008.
