Housing Market Inching Closer to Normal Next Year

Housing construction is expected to grow in 2015, continuing its slow march back to normal, Bloomberg reported.

David Crowe, chief economist at the National Association of Home Builders said that the group projects housing starts to improve from 1 million to 1.2 million in the new year. Although there are many pluses about the housing market recovery, there are also factors that negatively impact it including tight lending standards, rising home prices, and an increase in the cost of labor and materials.
