Size Chart Shows American Homes Continue to Grow

According to Business Insider, homes built in the U.S. today are bigger than they were before the housing market crashed.

The average square footage of newly constructed single-family homes increased to approximately 2,600 square-feet in 2014 compared to a low of 2,400 square-feet in 2011. The increase in average square footage has increased nearly 500 square-feet since 1990.
