Builders’ Sentiment Steady Since September 2014, NAHB Says

Builders remain relatively optimistic about the current market, the NAHB reports. The association expects pent-up demand will further ramp up single-family construction.

This stability is indicative of the relatively modest improvement in housing production exhibited in the last six months. Builders see improvement in demand but reluctance remains as economic growth varies across markets. Retirement communities and remodeling continue to do well.
