Zillow Will Give $10,000 Bounty to “Hackers” With a Solution
The online listing service giant Zillow is challenging developers to jumpstart the slumbering housing market with a $10,000 prize, HousingWire reports.
On the weekend of Feb. 6-8, Zillow will host an event called “Hack Housing: Empowering Smarter Decisions,” conducted in coordination with the White House, U.S. Department of Commerce, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. These government departments will provide the latest housing data to help participants come up with an innovative way to help first-time homebuyers, low-income renters, and senior citizens meet their housing needs.
