The NAHB Recaps 2015’s Slow Start

Home builder confidence for single-family homes fell two points to 55 on the NAHB/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index in February, the NAHB reports.

The pace of housing starts declined by 2 percent in January, coming from the decline of single-family starts as multifamily starts remained strong on rose by 7.5 percent.

Additionally, first-time buyer share decreased to 26 percent in January, down from 29 percent in December and 31 percent in November.
