66 Percent of First-Time Home Buyers Make a Small Down Payment

According to data from the NAR’s Confidence Index Survey, 66 percent of first-time homebuyers made a down payment of 0 to 6 percent in December 2014 – February 2015.

This is a decline from the 77 percent figure in early 2009, but an improvement over the 61 percent figure at the beginning of 2014.
