States and Metros Taking Lead in Job Creation

The NAR reports that Utah is the state with the most job creation, followed by North Dakota, Wyoming, Georgia, and Florida.

North Dakota fell from the first spot because of falling oil prices. Other energy-producing states like Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma are also experiencing a decrease in job gains.

Utah’s top spot is attributed to its real estate market. Another booming market that is creating many jobs is the technology industry, which contributed to job growth in the metros of San Jose, Calif., Atlanta, and Louisville, Ky.
