New York City Tops List for Residential Construction in North America

Toronto’s reign over urban construction came to an end as New York City snatched the crown for most multifamily units under construction.

According to BuzzBuzzHome, “New York City outpaces Toronto by 701 residential suites, with 38,815 multifamily units under construction compared to Toronto’s 38,411 units.”

Volume aside, Toronto wins for units per capita, while the Big Apple wins when it comes to height.
