In the Smart Home, Your Car Can Talk with Your Thermostat
The $100 accessory Automatic allows you to sync a smart phone with a car. In its latest update, Automatic will beam a car’s driving data to any app possible.
In a review of the product, Fast Company Design magazine offers some tips on how to use Automatic for home automation.
“Automatic will link up to your Nest app, so when you turn on your car at work at 5 p.m., it’ll tell your house to be the right temperature for when you get home 30 minutes later,” the review says.
