Looking at where technology is headed, it looks like peeling a television off the wall isn’t that impossible anymore.
In fact, LG Display unveiled a 55-inch OLED (organic light-emitting diode) screen that weighs around 4 pounds and is less than 0.03 inches thick at a press event in South Korea, CNET reports.
The television is still only a proof of concept, but it was part of a broader announcement by LG Display about its strategy to center on OLED technology.
