What’s not? Tiled countertops, brass and bronze, whirlpool tubs, cathedral ceilings, and formal dining rooms. These trends show that American homebuyers and homeowners are looking for a more relaxed home experience, with the option for luxurious relaxation in a spa-like bathroom.
“The once popular master shower is fading in lieu of a spa shower, while the traditional tub is gone altogether,” the article says. According to Pamela Cinelli, director of sales and marketing for Compass Homes, no one uses tubs, “and we haven’t sold a whirlpool tub in more than five years.”
