A survey of 11,000 employers found that employers are looking to make some hires. The level of optimism is at its highest point since 2007.
Based on the survey, Business Insider found the 20 best places for job seekers to look for work. McAllen-Edinburg-Mission, Texas, is atop the list, as 35 percent of employers in the south Texas metro look to increase staff levels.
Other areas that made the rankings include Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, Fla., Indianapolis-Carmel, Ind., and Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale, Ariz.
