PulteGroup Researches the Evolving Tastes of American Homebuyers

In a warehouse in Norcross, Ga., focus group participants fill out clipboards to help the organizer, PulteGroup, better understand the changing preferences of American homebuyers.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the focus groups are divided according to lifestyle. One group consists of affluent people 55 and older “who don’t want a neighborhood that handholds them with activities.” Another one is “young family,” and there is also “urban couple.”

More than 1,000 metro Atlantans are expected to have gone through the exercise this year for PulteGroup.
