Eight Future Technologies That Will Make Homes More Energy Efficient

Homes are not as simple as they once were. Everything is connected now. And, as such, today’s homes use 37 percent more energy than they did in 1980. However, thanks to a bevy of energy efficient technologies, this number is much lower than it would otherwise be.

And it will be getting even lower in the future. Proud Green Home has compiled a list of eight energy-efficient home technologies on their way in the next few years.

Carbon-fighting clothes dryers, magnetic refrigerators, reflective roofing material, and brighter, better lighting are some of the improvements that can be expected to improve the sustainability of the homes of today and the future.
