Survey Finds Where Properties Sell the Quickest

Properties for sale in Colorado, Alaska, and Washington, D.C. were typically sold within a month, a new survey found.

The REALTORS Confidence Index Survey Report asked members how long the last house they sold was on the market. The report took into account homes sold in February.

Properties sold fastest in the west. Houses in Minnesota, California, Utah, Oklahoma, Washington, Arizona, Nebraska, and Kansas were sold after being on the market for an average between 31 and 45 days.

The national average for properties sold in February was 59 days on the market, down from 64 in January and 62 in February 2015.
