SolarCity, a company owned by influential tech magnate Elon Musk, already produces solar panels. Now the company is looking to produce solar roofs.
Details are scarce, but Fast Co Design reports that customizable roofs will not cut into SolarCity’s other business. The company is the largest installer of residential solar panels in the country, and continues to grow.
