New Jersey Office Landlords Offer Ride-Sharing Subsidies As A Perk

A few office building owners in New Jersey are trying to make it easier for their tenants to get to work.

Realtor.com reports that Hugo Neu Corp. of Kearny and Marcus Partners of Morristown offer ride-sharing credits to and from their office buildings. The strategy is to not only attract new tenants, but to also cut down on the amount of parking needed.

Subsidizing ride-hailing services also could help landlords attract tenants looking to pack more people into less office space, particularly in areas where parking is tight, brokers said.
