UpCodes, a startup headed by a former architect, is compiling and sorting building regulations on a new mobile app.
In addition to a digital library of codes, the app will also have collaboration and sharing tools, and will be updated in real time when codes are changed, according to TechCrunch.
UpCodes has already processed more than 110,000 searches in 2017, according to the company. The app has building codes for 40 states and New York City, and plans to add Denver, Los Angeles, and Seattle soon.
