Strategic Partnerships, a firm that tracks contract opportunities for vendors around Texas, released a set of guidelines for contractors who want to take part in the cleanup and rebuilding process in Houston after Hurricane Harvey.
The Houston Business Journal reports that FEMA already has a stockpile of necessities including water, food, cots, tarps, blue roofing sheeting and blankets. Contractors are encouraged to contact FEMA’s Public Assistance Grant Program to get vetted for pre-arranged contracts.
Contractors can register with FEMA’s System for Award Management division and submit a voluntary vendor profile form. Follow this link to read Strategic Partnership's full report on contracting opportunities.
The storm has caused an estimated $160 billion worth of damage to the Houston region.
