A professionally installed, whole-house air quality system that combines air filtration, humidification and UV air treatment has been introduced by Honeywell. Called the Enviracaire Elite system, Euro designed components include: An Ultraviolet Air Treatment System that is duct or coil-mounted to zap mold and bacteria with patented bulb design; a Whole-House Air Cleaner to trap airborne particles (it’s 72 percent effective in capturing particles as small as 0.3 microns, i.e. bacteria size); and a Whole-House Humidifier that boasts the only humidifier pads treated with Healthshield antimicrobial compound.
