The Gateway B-vent fireplace’s vent can be terminated vertically or horizontally, ena-bling placement anywhere in a home. The ignition system provides a pilot flame only when needed, saving on gas bills and thermogenerator wear. A battery backup system allows the unit to run during power outages. The unit can be operated with a wall switch or an optional remote control.
