Ice-Based Energy Storage, Closed-Cell Spray Foam Highlight Best Products At Greenbuild

Eco-friendly countertops, cool roofs, and Porous Pave are among the many products on display at Greenbuild this week.

Proud Green Home previewed the top items at the conference, which is going on through Friday at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The list includes ice-based energy storage, which melts ice to cool buildings during peak demand hours, and all sorts of insulation products. Plumbing fixtures is also a must-see.

Kohler’s newest water-conserving toilet, the Highline 1.0 gallon per flush (gpf) toilet, which optimizes water flow and timing to maximize performance while reducing water use by 35 percent compared to a 1.6 gpf toilet.
