Docking Drawer is known for creating safe, leading-edge in drawer outlet solutions. New for 2021, the manufacturer's 15-amp Blade Series outlets are Docking Drawer’s first fully unified line of single-size in-drawer outlets featuring the ability to both charge and power any device in a single solution.

One Outlet for Any Application and Every Device

A must-have feature, these innovative in-drawer outlets are commonly specified in a variety of home improvement projects. The new Docking Drawer Blade Series outlets not only bridge the previously gap between charging and powering solutions, they are also now designed in one size for easier specification into any drawer type.

Offering customers a safe, hidden power source, Docking Drawer outlets eliminate clutter from countertops and surfaces, resulting in a clutter-free aesthetic and more functional and purposeful space. From kitchen charging drawers to bathroom vanity styling stations and beyond, every room can benefit from the addition of in-drawer outlets.

Simple Installation

Docking Drawer customers love the simplified line of Blade Series outlets, especially the time and money it saves tradespeople. “We originally started engineering outlets into drawers before Docking Drawer was available to us,” says Chris Goddard of Heartwood Cabinet Makers. “Countless hours were spent coordinating electrical strategies and explaining the necessary steps to electricians to achieve the desired outcome. Docking Drawer units have greatly simplified the planning process and provided seamless applications wherever needed.”

Docking Drawer’s power cord stays protected by the metal cable management arms and easily plugs into a power source behind the drawer.

All 15-amp Blade Series outlets now feature a corded connection and simply plug into the nearest power source, eliminating the previous need to hardwire. This speeds up installation and minimizes the trips needed by your team’s electrician, thereby lowering overall project costs. To go one step further, Docking Drawer’s updated technical resources help make project planning easier than ever. From mounting diagrams to installation examples, DXF and STEP files, and more, all of your questions can be answered in the new Spec Book.

Chris Goddard agrees, “We build our cabinetry to accommodate the specifications required by Docking Drawer and install ourselves. [The included] cutout templates are very helpful, the new spec book is on point, and selecting the correct unit is simple, especially with the new 15-amp model.”

Safety Always Comes First

Docking Drawer is committed to safety and continues to offer the industry’s safest in-drawer outlet solutions. Blade Series outlets are rigorously tested and are ETL Listed and approved for use in the US and Canada, featuring an interlocking thermostat that de-energizes the outlet when surrounding temperatures exceed 120° F.
