A new partnership between Amazon and Lennar will bring Alexa-enabled smart home technology to “experience showrooms” across the U.S.
According to CNBC, the homebuilder's newest homes have no internet dead spots, with Wi-Fi capabilities built into the walls and floors. This allows Amazon to show off its smart home products in Lennar show homes with no fear of service interruption.
"We wanted customers to experience a real home environment that showcases the convenience of the Alexa smart home experience, great entertainment available with Prime, and Home Services," says Nish Lathia, general manager of Amazon Services. "Lennar offers the potential to enable this experience within easy driving distance of millions of customers."
Both Lennar and Amazon both feature professional home services to facilitate the new technology in Lennar smart homes.
