Lennar has announced a partnership with Amazon that will bring Alexa-powered smart technology to the homes in its Babcock Ranch, Fla., development.
Homeowners in the new community will be able to turn lights on and off, dim lights, add music, turn on the television, and more with an Amazon Echo Dot. They can also choose an upgrade option that would allow them to view their doorway through a monitor. All features can also be controlled via smartphone or tablet.
In addition, News-Press reports that Amazon technology is being placed in 15 Lennar model homes across the country. The new Amazon Experience Centers will allow visitors to test Amazon smart home technology in a showroom setting.
