But now, there is technology to control lights from your phone, automatically unlock the door as you approach, and allow someone to see who is at their front door even if they aren’t home. Most surprisingly, the technology doesn’t cost all that much, either, according to Reuters.
For just a few hundred dollars, thanks to home builders pre-wiring houses for easy installation of home security systems, doorbell webcams, and automated light switches, a house can turn into a smart house and increase its value.
