Mandalay Homes’s, an Arizona-based home builder now builds to the strict requirements of the DOE Zero Energy Ready Home program in all of its communities.

The company aims to construct 120 of these homes in 2016. Mandalay’s goal is to achieve a Home Energy Rating System (HERS) of 50 or less, without PVs, on every home they build.
