Massachusetts has upped the ante in its effort to increase the number of homes with solar panels with a new incentive. The state pledged $30 million for local banks and credit unions under the state’s new Mass Solar Loan program.
The aim is to make it easier for homeowners to obtain loans to install panels and own them afterwards, rather than lease them from a panel installer.
