More than 3,300 residential buildings are on the path to zero energy, according to a report from the Net Zero Energy Coalition.

This represents almost 1% of 2014 housing starts. By comparison, New Buildings Institute identified 213 commercial buildings on the path to zero in their report, “2014 Getting to Zero Status Update.”
