The 2022 New American Home and New American Remodel are on display from February 8th to the 10th for attendees of the International Builders’ Show. The NAHB Leading Suppliers Council, in collaboration with Professional Builder and Professional Remodeler magazines, unveiled the official show homes on February 7th, and tours will continue throughout the week, NAHBNow reports.

The New American Home 2022 features 4,646 square feet of living space with multiple flex spaces, a home gym, innovative home technology, a courtyard pool, and a rooftop terrace. The New American Remodel is a 6,993 square foot bungalow-style home originally built in 1963. The newly remodeled home features five bedrooms, four and one-half bathrooms, an exercise room, a detached guest house, and a net-zero energy status.

“For nearly 40 years, the New American Home program has continually raised the bar for home building ingenuity with each new edition, and the 2022 homes are no exception,” said NAHB Chairman Chuck Fowke, a custom home builder from Tampa, Fla. “These homes are not simply annual exhibits of building products. Rather, they inspire growth and encourage innovation throughout the residential construction industry.”
