Beginning Thursday, March 27, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) will host a new webinar series entitled “The New Normal: Retooling Your Business for Bottom Line Success.” The program is designed to help home builders adjust their business strategies to compete and succeed as the housing market continues to emerge from the recession.
Each of the six sessions will focus on specific knowledge areas, such as design, market research, financing, and social media.
The topics the series will cover are:
March 27: Better Product Positioning through Competitor and Consumer Research; instructor - John Schleimer, MIRM, president, NorCal Market Perspectives Inc.
April 3: Marketing Your Business in the “Participation Age”; instructor - Mollie Elkman, president, Group Two Advertising; and Greg Terbrock, president/owner, Greg Terbrock Design Build
April 17: The New Rules for New Home Sales; instructor - Myers Barnes, MIRM, president, Myers Barnes Associates, Inc.
May 1: Using Design Trends to Create a Competitive Advantage; instructor - Daniel Swift, senior partner, BSB Design
May 22: Securing Capital for Your Company’s Growth; instructor - TBD
May 29: Solving the Supplier/Trade Shortage - New Rules, New Thinking; instructor - Scott Sedam, principal, TrueNorth Development Inc.
