NAHB Celebrates Professional Women in Building Week
In an effort to advance and recruit women into the residential construction industry, the National Association of Home Builders is celebrating its annual Professional Women in Building Week. Taking place from Sept. 15 through Sept. 19, Professional Women in Building Week provides daily resources for women in the residential construction industry.
Each day of the week will be used to highlight a specific issue or topic pertaining to women in residential construction. See the full schedule at nahb.org and below:
- Monday, Sept. 15: Advice on how to support the next generation of women in residential construction.
- Tuesday, Sept. 16: Join our Shop Talk, How to Bring the Next Generation of Women into the Residential Construction Industry, at 11 a.m. ET. Also, celebrate Tradeswomen Tuesday by reading profiles on women working in various trades.
- Wednesday, Sept. 17: Register for our webinar, Unconventional Paths to the Residential Construction Industry, at 12 p.m. ET.
- Thursday, Sept. 18: Join our Shop Talk, How Women Can Pivot from One Career to Another within the Construction Industry, at 11 a.m. ET. Also, drill down into the data about women in residential construction in a special Eye on Housing post.
- Friday, Sept. 19: Wrap up the week celebrating PWB members and local councils with a social media takeover. Follow the hashtags #NAHBPWBWeek, #NAHBWomenInBuilding, #NAHBWomenInBuildingWeek and #PWBProud.
