NAR releases infographic that visualizes September foot traffic

The NAR says that foot traffic is a good indicator for upcoming sales trends as it has a strong correlation with future contracts and home sales.

Based on the latest data collected, foot traffic, or the number of potential buyers shown a home by an NAR real estate broker, jumped 8.7 points to 65.7 in September, the third successive increase. The NAR says that low mortgage rates and an improved labor market breathed life into consumer confidence and boosted interest in housing.
