www.energycodes.gov: The U.S. Dept. of Energy has launched the Building Energy Codes Resource Center to link users to energy codes and beyond-code construction techniques and technologies. The site offers detailed information on topics ranging from how to frame window headers for additional insulation to the latest research on mold and moisture.

www.energycodes.gov: The U.S. Dept. of Energy has launched the Building Energy Codes Resource Center to link users to energy codes and beyond-code construction techniques and technologies. The site offers detailed information on topics ranging from how to frame window headers for additional insulation to the latest research on mold and moisture. The site also links users to REScheck, energy code compliance software that is now used in many states.

www.wbdg.org: New at the Whole Building Design Guide portal is a complete database of recyclers of construction and demolition waste. The database allows users to search by state and zip code as well as by over 15 commonly recycled construction waste materials.
