Passive House demand on the rise worldwide

While it originated in Germany, the Passive House or Passivhaus movement has homeowners around the world demanding the 80-90 percent energy savings it can offer.
The key to Passive Houses—of which there are 30,000 in the world today—is a highly efficient building envelope, which greatly reduces the need for mechanical heating and cooling.
