Many Portlanders will be priced out of the urban core, and they'll choose surrounding suburbs such as Gresham as their new domain, a departure from the current trend of city living, KGW reports.

“Suburban areas grew more slowly than urban ones for the first time in almost 100 years,” the article says. “But the booming cities have led to unattainable home prices for many buyers.”
