The push for smarter, more efficient, and design-forward building products shows no signs of slowing, and our Most Valuable Products (MVP) Awards are once again on the hunt for the innovations leading the way.

Now in its ninth year and open exclusively to building product manufacturers, the MVP Awards celebrate residential building materials, products, and systems that help builders save time and money without compromising quality, style, or convenience.

Recognizing Product Innovation

“We look for products that solve real-world challenges builders face every day,” says Rich Binsacca, head of content for Pro Builder. “It’s about innovation, builder benefit, market needs, and design impact; all the key factors that reflect where the industry is heading.”

Entries are judged by industry veterans who understand the complexities of today’s job sites and homeowner expectations. Whether it’s a product that streamlines installation, elevates aesthetics, or addresses evolving market demands, the MVP Awards shine a spotlight on those advancing the industry.

The awards are open to building product manufacturers. Consideration is given to products launched between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2026.

New This Year: Wellness

New this year, the Pro Builder MVP Awards include a Wellness category, the program's only named category. Products that address air quality, water quality, thermal comfort, lighting, acoustics, materials, or occupant wellbeing are eligible. Everything else competes as a single field for gold, silver, and bronze, and a Wellness entry stays in the running for those honors too.

Winning products gain visibility across Pro Builder’s platforms, from digital and print editorial features to social media promotion and recognition at one of industry’s biggest events, the National Association of Home Builders' International Builders' Show (IBS).

How to Submit Your Product

Building product manufacturers (BPMs) interested in showcasing their innovations can submit their entries through Sept. 16, 2026, with early-bird discounts available until Aug. 19, 2026. 

Submissions are $325 per entry ($225 with the early-bird rate), and $200 for each additional submission. See last year's MVP Award winners here.
