Trex Select composite decking features SunComfortable technology designed to reduce surface heat by up to 35°F compared with original Trex boards. Said to be the first mid-priced boards with heat mitigration, the product is submersible, rated for marine applications, and W.U.I. compliant for wildfire-prone areas.

Made from 95% recycled materials, the decking resists scratching, staining, and fading without requiring sanding, staining, or sealing. The full-board profile allows for bending and design flexibility. Three colors are available: Malted Barley (warm grey undertones), Millstone (weathered grey), and Whiskey Barrel (rustic brown with streaking).
