Kolbe Windows & Doors Featuring LuxWall Enthermal™ Glass | Kolbe

Kolbe Windows & Doors partnered with LuxWall to introduce Enthermal and Enthermal Plus, vacuum insulating glass options that use a vacuum space between panes instead of gas fill to reduce thermal transfer. Available in Kolbe's Ultra Series and VistaLuxe WD LINE windows and doors, both systems offer Low-E coatings and optional specialty glass.

The Enthermal option uses two panes of tempered glass with one Low-E coating. Enthermal Plus adds a third pane and second coating, and additional customization options. The vacuum eliminates the need for breaker tubes typically required in high-altitude installations. According to Kolbe, Enthermal delivers better thermal performance than triple-pane glass with less weight. Both options include a 20-year warranty.
