Realtor.com Partners With Yelp To Improve Property Listings

You no longer have to be a tab hoarder when searching for a new house.

The Washington Post reports that Realtor.com has partnered with Yelp to add information about local services and amenities. House listings show nearby coffee shops, restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores on the property map.

The pins include each business’s Yelp star rating, so consumers can see not only how close amenities are but also how well they are viewed by customers. This addition is aimed at helping buyers narrow their choice of neighborhood. Part of that decision should be a consideration of future resale value and what the housing market is like now.
