In-O-Vate makes five models of recessed dryer vent boxes that fit in the wall behind a dryer. The Dryerbox is a deep-drawn, molded product made from 22-gauge aluminized steel, weighing between 4 to 5 pounds. The boxes allow the dryer to be placed flush against the wall without crushing the exhaust hose, which can add an additional square foot or two to the laundry room and protect the exhaust hose from getting damaged or broken during the remainder of construction.
